Save money on your water bill
Everyone loves to save money. Now imagine you could save money and have a great shower at the same time. With the Delta 75152 you can do just that. This shower head offers the option for a full force, high pressure spray with a standard 2.5 GPM flow rate or if you want to save water you can easily switch to a 1.85 GPM with the flick of a lever. The 1.85 GPM flow setting uses Deltas H2OKinetics technology, and will use up to 36% less water – saving you a bundle on water and heating costs. What’s even better is that you’ll hardly notice the difference in pressure.
This shower head also meets the EPA’s rigorous WaterSense criteria which means you’ll be helping the environment without sacrificing comfort.
What is WaterSense?
In a nutshell WaterSense is an EPA sponsored program that aims to protect the future of one of our most precious resources – water. So if you want to save money and help protect the planet look for a shower head with the WaterSense label.
Uses H2OKinetic technology
What the heck is H20Kinetic technology?
It has to do with the engineering on the inside of the shower head. The water is channeled through a series of ‘chambers’ which causes the water to spin like a mini whirlpool. When it exits the shower head the water is forced into a wave-like pattern to provide a comforting spray that uses significantly less water while feeling like a full-powered shower.
In case that didn’t make any sense, here’s a video from Delta explaining it:
What’s unique about the Delta 75152 is that instead of having 50 or 100 tiny jets that constantly clog up, it has four huge nozzles that blast out a torrent of water and expand to drench your whole body with an invigorating spray. You’ll never have to worry about clogs from mineral deposits or scale build up again. For cleaning the chrome finish just use a little bit of soap and water. Conveniently you can do it at the same time as you shower. Simple.
Will improve water pressure
If you have low water pressure and feel like you’ll never have the luxury of a quality shower again, the Delta 75152 is the solution you’ve been waiting for. Because it uses H2OKinetics technology, even if you have horrible water pressure throughout your home, you can rest easy knowing you’ll be able to wake up to a great shower. It’s the difference between starting your day frustrated and miserable to refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to tackle anything life throws at you.
The Delta 75152 is an absolute beauty to behold. With its polished chrome body and sleek minimalist design, it will be a stunning addition to any bathroom style. Whether you have a modern contemporary bathroom or are more a traditionalist, this shower head will fit right in.
Easy to install
Delta has make it super easy to install this shower head. All you need is a wrench (or just your hands if you’re strong enough) and some plumbers tape.
- Remove the old shower head from the shower arm by turning it counter-clockwise (to the left)
- Remove any gunk left over from the threads and re-wrap it with the plumbers tape.
- Hands tighten the new shower head by turning it clockwise (to the right). Turn the water on to check for leaks.
In addition to saving you money every month on your water and heating bill, the Delta 75152 is one of the most affordable shower heads on the market today. It will likely pay for itself over the course of a year through the savings alone. That is unless you decide to take extra showers because of how great the extra pressure feels.
What’s not so good?
Spray can be a bit too wide
The use of H2OKinetics technology forces the spray into tiny droplets to give you maximum coverage while using less water. The downside to this is that the wayward droplets on the outer edge of the spray get cold much quicker than those in the middle. So if you’re too far away the droplets can have a chilling effect. Which is not ideal. However if the shower head is to far away from you, one solution would be to buy a shower arm extender. It would add a bit to the cost but you’ll have much more versatility and you’ll get the most of your shower head.
Made of plastic
This isn’t a big deal for most people because once you install it you’ll probably forget it’s even there. The plastic looks just like chrome and you’d only know the difference if you touch it or look at it within an inch of your eyeball.
Overall the Delta 75152 is an awesome shower head with the unique ability to easily switch between flow rates. It uses H2OKinetics technology to give you the feeling of a full shower while using less water – saving you money. Cleaning is almost non-existent because the nozzles are big enough that they’ll never clog. Furthermore, its inexpensive and looks great with a modern design that’ll match any bathroom style.
If you want to save money and water without sacrificing pressure, you’ll love the Delta 75152 shower head.
